MY APPROACH

Effective therapy requires the integration of kindness, humor, curiosity, and authenticity.

You remember a time when feeling worry, low self-worth and overwhelm weren’t the “norm” but those days feel like distant memory. Don't you wish you had the tools to change that?

I help my clients find ease, confidence and fulfillment by equipping them with the tools they need to rediscover meaning, direction and self-trust. This therapeutic process creates space for you to explore and imagine a hopeful future - one where you’re able to consistently show up to your relationships and circumstances with a sense of purpose.

Our sessions will also focus on re-aligning and examining your values and needs while building your capacity to tolerate the unknown. This process will empower you with greater agency and self-connection.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I’m your therapist.

Many of today’s solutions for anxiety and self-esteem are overly focused on cognition and thinking patterns, leading many to feel like they have awareness of their thoughts without real change or progress. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I utilize an integrative approach focused on supporting your thoughts, processing emotions and regulating your nervous system. This supports more authentic, holistic healing.

My collaborative and compassionate approach allows for a safe space where you can feel grounded, tune into hope and find clarity - moving you through big life changes, relationship disconnection and stress in an effective and productive way.

We will approach your circumstances with curiosity and compassion. We will learn about your needs and values in order to empower you with a sense purpose and clarity moving forward. My job is to equip you with the tools to transform your reactions from those of fear, freeze, or detachment to an experience of deep connection and confidence.

Be kind to one another

Specialties

Attachment Theory

Attachment theory gives us an understanding around the importance of safe and secure relationships in our lives. When we can better understand our attachment wounds and attachment needs we are provided with a road map for navigating our present relationships.

Autonomic Nervous System

Every human has a protective system called the autonomic nervous system. This system signals to our brain and body when something feels threatening internally or externally. Getting to know this system on a deeper level supports both healing and growth.

Top Down Approach

Top down focuses on cognitive interventions such as changing your mindset, reframing thoughts, understanding your narrative and accessing core-beliefs. This approach is centered on the importance of insight from both past and present experiences.

A bottom up approach focuses on your embodied experience and responses. This includes supporting you in a better understanding of how your individual system reacts to stress and threat. We work to identify what your system needs in order to feel safe and secure.
